Named by legendary jazz great Ted Greene as one of LA's best all around guitar players, Tommy Kay's musical history is diverse to say the least. During a five year stint with East Coast musician Joe Beard, he backed up numerous Soul and Blues greats including Rufus Thomas, Jimmy Dawkins, Eddie Shaw and many others.

Tommy has toured with the multi-Grammy nominee band Roomful Of Blues, recorded with the seminal LA roots band King Cotton, and toured and recorded with Fleetwood Mac/Bonnie Raitt guitarist Rick Vito. Recently, he has toured with The Blues Brothers, Sam Moore, R & B star Montell Jordan, and done recording sessions for Tank, as well as sessions for many modern gospel recording artists.

To his credit are numerous film soundtrack projects, including work for Steven Segal, HBO, and independent feature films. However, it is his debut CD that truly showcases his talent.

Tommy has also recently co-wrote the song "Arizona Sunrise" with George Benson and producer Paul Brown, and arranged the number one smooth jazz single "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise" for George Benson's latest release.
